The HP Smart Tank 5103 costs $270, cheaper than the GX1020's $357, and runs cheaper as well: $0.40 in black and $1.22 in color per 100 pages against the GX1020's $0.57 and $1.70. It drops the duplex printing and touchscreen the GX1020 offers. The Epson EcoTank Photo ET-8500, one step cheaper to run than the GX1020, costs $700.
